What You’ll Need

  • Mild liquid soap or detergent

  • Soft toothbrush or cloth

  • Cold water

  • Clean towel

  • Hanger or hook for air-drying

How to Do It

Step 1

Shake or brush off loose dust or debris.

Step 2

Mix a few drops of mild soap with cold water.

Step 3

Dip a soft cloth or toothbrush into the soapy mix and gently scrub the strap along the knots.

Stem 4

Rinse with a clean damp cloth—avoid soaking.

Step 5

Lay flat or hang to dry in a shaded area.

Step 6

Avoid sunlight and heat sources that may cause fading or stiffness.
